The Seasons of Our Catholic Faith
The Catholic Church invites us to walk hand in hand with Christ through the rhythm of the liturgical year—Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time. Each season offers a unique opportunity to grow in grace, deepen our prayer, and rediscover the beauty of God’s presence in every moment. Whether we are preparing our hearts in quiet anticipation, rejoicing in His birth and resurrection, or living out His teachings day by day, these Sacred seasons form a rich tapestry of spiritual renewal. Join us as we explore their meaning and live them more fully in our daily lives
Beholding Him Who Was Pierced
This video homily is from Fr Joe Krupp from the Diocese of Michigan on the Feast of Christ the King. It or something very much like it very well could have been preached at any one of the Catholic churches across the Southern Tier of New York. It oozes every element of the message Jesus Christ desires every priest, deacon and lay person to scream from the mountain top!
The audio clip is from our own Deacon Brian Mizzoni from Corning. In this video clip from Divine Mercy Sunday, we will hear his thoughts on Jesus’s ever lasting love for us through His Divine Mercy.
We have excellent Catholic Parishes across the Southern Tier of New York, led by awesome priests, deacons and staff members, but the job of us, the lay members of the Catholic Church, is to do the same! This is Our Mission – to preach to every corner of the Southern Tier that Christ is King and He will win in the end. We want to help you all be on His Winning Team!
Advent Thoughts Extend Beyond the Manger
This video helps us step back to see what Jesus was doing in the manger. It goes beyond the manger – He was on a mission, a mission to rescue us by conquering sin, which He did on the cross; but also conquered death through His Resurrection. Don’t just focus on the baby, the maji, but focus on the mission, a mission He asks us to carry on as His Hands, His Feet in 2025 and beyond…
